Dog Licensing can be completed at the North Ogden Police Department.  The licenses expire December 31st and there is a late fee of $15.00 effective March 1st.

Applications are available online or in the North Ogden Police Department office, 515 E. 2600 N.

All dogs must be restrained by a chain or leash while off property.  While a dog is on the owner's property they must be properly contained by a fence or leash.

Dog owners are responsible for addressing and controlling their dogs.  Animals that bark, whine, howl or make other disturbing noises in an excessive, continuous, untimely or unreasonable manner, or that defecate on any public sidewalk or park, or private property without the consent of the owner, unless the defecation is promptly removed and disposed of in a proper trash receptacle may be deemed a nuisance animal.

There is a dog park available for your convenience located at 2600 N. 850 E.  Rules apply and are posted at the entrance of the dog park.  There is also a North Ogden Dog Park Facebook page for additional information. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the dog park please call North Ogden Parks and Recreation at 801-737-0587.

Please note that North Ogden does not pick up cats or handle feral or stray cats. You may take the cat to Weber County Animal Shelter. If it is a feral cat please contact animal control for more information.
