June: Mountain Springs Dental

History

Mountain Springs Dental has been serving the North Ogden community for over 30 years.  In 2009, Dr. Garner built a new office where he could grow his practice and recently Dr. Spendlove, son of Merrill and Annette Spendlove, and Dr. Garner’s son-in-law joined the practice.

Dr. Ray Garner attended Weber State University, then graduated from Creighton University and received his DDS.  He is a father of five children and currently 11 grandchildren with two grandchildren on the way.  Dr. Garner was also a previous member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for 12 years.  He had the opportunity to travel with the choir over the years.  One of his most memorable trips with the choir was in 2016 when they traveled to Europe for 3 weeks and performed in Berlin; Frankfurt, Germany; Switzerland; Amsterdam; and Brussels.

Dr. Niklaus Spendlove received his Bachelor’s Degree from Weber State University, then graduated from Midwestern University in 2013 and received his DMD.  After, he moved to Oregon and practiced for 4 and half years, then returned to North Ogden with his family in August 2017.   Dr. Spendlove attended Weber High and worked at Lee’s as a Pharmacy Tech and Dental Assistant for Dr. Garner.  Dr. Spendlove is a father of five children and he and his wife are currently Webelos den leaders in Cub Scouts.

Services

Mountain Springs Dental provides comprehensive dental care for all ages and all families.  New patients are always welcome.  Their office atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable with a view.  They treat and/or offer the following services:

• gum disease and cavities
• root canals and crowns
• extraction and denture services
• invisalign
• custom dentistry

They also collaborate with local specialists to provide implant services. 

Community Involvement

Mountain Springs Dental participated in the Monster Mash Dash 5K as a vendor, and a humanitarian effort to build a vocational school in Ecuador.

Recently, Mountain Springs Dental had a 30 year anniversary celebration and invited the entire community to join them in celebrating their 30 years of service.  Festivities included a taco truck, snow cones, and a raffle.

They are also offering a patient appreciation pool party and raffle for the entire family at North Shore Aquatic Center on July 19 from 7 PM to 9 PM.  Stop by their office on July 1 or after to pick up your tickets.
