North Ogden City Youth Council

Council

The North Ogden City Youth Council (NOCYC) is a self-directed group of teens who are charged with representing and advocating for youth to North Ogden’s City Government and the community.  As a collaborative effort, its main objectives are to develop future leaders, give a formal voice to youth, engage in civic education, community service and improve conditions for local youth.

The City Youth Council is a prestigious organization that replicates the North Ogden City Council but is administered by the youth of the community. It is comprised of positions held by the youth such as Mayor, Vice Mayor, Communications Director, Service Director, Events Director, Education Director, Treasurer, Recorder, and other council members.

Participating in the CYC not only helps improve leadership, project development and management skills, it may also increase the opportunities for college scholarships!

We are always looking for new members and would love to have you join us! For more information please call 801-737-9830.
