Community Band News and Events

Are you a musician that plays or has played a concert band type instrument? Have you thought about using your skills or renewing your skills in a fun type atmosphere? If so, you will be interested in a new community concert band in the North Weber County area.

We need band instruments of all kinds and welcome your interest in joining with us. We are sponsored by North Ogden City, but you don’t need to be a resident to join. There are no auditions and no fees. We just ask that you have had at least high school or equivalent playing experience in the past or present.

Please come and join with other interested volunteer members.

When:  Thursday, 7:00pm

Where: North View Senior Center (south of the North Ogden Library - across the street)

Music will be passed out at rehearsals, however, some of the music will be available from the source below. Downloading any or all the music listed below is not recommended until you are informed at a rehearsal.

Each participant will need to provide their own music stand. 

We are constantly recruiting new members. Please help by encouraging your friends and acquaintances to join. Hope to see you at our next rehearsal.  Currently we are in need of clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, french horn, baritone, trumpet, and trombone players, but band instruments of all types are recruited. If you have questions about the band, you may contact a band representative at jepsenl2665@gmail.com.

We also have a jazz ensemble that meets on Thursday evenings at the same location at 8:30pm.
