Administration
The Administration Department is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the City . The Mayor is the Chief Administrative Officer. The Mayor, along with the City Manager are assisted by department heads who are the senior professional staff members in the city.

Neal Berube was elected Mayor of North Ogden in November of 2019 and was sworn into office in January of 2020. He has been a North Ogden resident since 1982. He married Jeana Hancock in 1979 and they have three boys and seven grandchildren.
Mayor Berube attended Ben Lomond High School and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Weber State University in 1979. He worked for the accounting firm of Deloitte, in Salt Lake City and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1981. His professional career includes serving as the Chief Financial Officer for United Savings/Western Mortgage from 1982 to 1990 and he has been employed by Associated Food Stores for the last thirty years.
During his tenure at Associated Food Stores he has served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and is currently serving as Associated’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
Neal’s community service includes serving as a member of the McKay-Dee Hospital Board and as a trustee for Intermountain Healthcare. His previous government service includes appointments by Governor Herbert to serve as a commissioner for the Division of Alcohol Beverage Control and as a member of the governor’s task force on efficient and effective government.
Mayor Berube feels blessed to be supported by the awesome staff that works for the citizens of North Ogden. He believes North Ogden is a great place to live and with citizen input it can become even better. He has a goal of rallying the community through respective listening with the hope of creating ONE NORTH OGDEN. He loves North Ogden and its citizens and is excited to serve.

Jon has worked for the City since July 2012. He grew up in Plain City, Utah, just west of Ogden. He obtained his bachelors in Business Administration from Weber State University. Jon received his Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University in 2011 and was admitted to the Utah Bar in 2011. Jon lives in the area and enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily; dogs, Beylah and Ripley; and goats, Mario and Luigi. When he's not at the office Jon is often doing home repairs, tinkering on cars, or out enjoying the mountains or lakes and rivers nearby.
