Economic Development Committee

The Economic Development Committee (EDC) was formed in 2009 to address concerns from the business community about sign standards, landscaping standards, etc.  This Committee is chaired by the Mayor and contains members drawn from the City Council, North Ogden businesses, North Ogden residents, and other interested individuals.

The Committee meets occasionally to discuss issues related to economic development, including business regulations and ordinances, beautification programs, and re-development initiatives.  The Committee provides important recommendations to the City Council about how to foster economic growth in North Ogden, including recommendations on the use of RDA (Re-Development Agency) and CDA (Community Development Area) economic development funds.  Check the calendar for upcoming meeting dates.  All Committee meetings are open to the public. If you are interested in serving on the EDC, please contact Mayor Berube at nberube@nogden.org.
