Major Project: 2750 North Trailhead

The Trailhead restroom was set on 8/18/2023 and features flushing toilets, sinks, and a water bottle fill station. It was constructed by CXT Buildings, who specializes in pre-fabricated restrooms. The building was constructed off-site and brought in on a truck and set by a crane. The building arrived at 8 a.m. and was functioning by 2 p.m. that same day. The building and utility hookups cost less than a traditionally constructed restroom.

The next step for the site is construction of the parking lot which will be just south of the new restrooms. Geneva Rock was selected as the General Contractor. Construction is planned to begin on 9/11/2023 and should be completed by November 2023. The parking lot will feature a concrete pad for food trucks/vendors, bike repair station, 34 regular parking stalls, and 4 horse trailer stalls. This will be a great place to access the North Ogden Canyon trails and will add accessibility for all users.
