How do I make a police report?

How do I obtain a police report that I have been involved in?

                To obtain a copy of a police report, you need to come by the North Ogden Police Department at 515 E 2600 N during regular business hours. Office hours are Monday and Tuesday 8am-5pm, Wednesday 8am-4m,Thursday and Friday 8am-5pm. There is a $25.00 fee for each report. You must bring with you government issued identification. How do I license my dog?

                To license your dog you must come to the North Ogden Police Department located at 515 E 2600 N during regular business hours. Office hours are Monday and Tuesday 8am-5pm, Wednesday 8am-4m,Thursday and Friday 8am-5pm. The paperwork that is needed is proof of rabies and the expiration date. If your dog is spayed/neutered and microchipped you will need to bring that paperwork as well.

Can I get my fingerprints done?

               The North Ogden Police Department provides a fingerprinting service by appointment only Tuesday-Friday during regular business hours by appointment only. Fingerprints are $10.00 per card needed. Please bring photo identification. To make an appointment, please call 801-782-7219. 

I have some old, outdated medications. Where can en residents.I safely dispose of them?

                The North Ogden Police Department offers a prescription drug drop off box that’s available during normal business hours; Monday and Tuesday 8am-5pm, Wednesday 8am-4m, Thursday and Friday 8am-5pm. You must place your unwanted medication into a Ziploc baggie that is provided at the drop off box or before you come. We can NOT have prescription bottles in the drop off box. 

How do I dispose of sharps and needles?

               We do not accepts sharps at the police department. Although, In small quantities the needles can be placed in a heavy plastic bottle, such as a Gatorade or bleach bottle. Seal with the lid and wrap with duct tape. Mark the bottle with the word “SHARPS”. This bottle can then be placed in a garbage receptacle and sent with the regular trash. You may contact Sharps Assure at 1-855-974-2777 Ext. 202. This is a service that will provide a sharps container and mail service at a cost for disposal.

                Visit CodeRed and create an account. From there you will be able to add multiple phone numbers to your account. This program is sponsored by all city and county municipalities in Weber County and is to be used by all residents living within Weber County.
